VMware - Cloud Director Service San Francisco, CA- Implemented a user interface using a TypeScript Angular front-end and Java Spring APIs that reduced the time to connect a datacenter to the VMware platform by 80%
- Served as the team's build-czar, using Jenkins, Cypress, TestNg, Logz.io, Wavefront to identify critical failures, resulting in a reduction in production incidents and improved test reliability
- Used Terraform to deploy an application image to AWS Cloudfront for customer to install that will connect to our Helm managed Kubernetes server, ensuring a secure and up-to-date product
- Designed a system using Java Netty to spread long-lived connections across multiple Kubernetes pods, resulting in significantly less downtime by reducing single points of failure
- Mentored three team interns, enabling them to become productive team members and future employees
- Authored a VMware Multi-Cloud Tech Day paper, which won first place in the security group
- Created two patents, filed by VMware, related to innovations derived from our product
- Modernized how users configure their VMs by creating a Java Spring Shell configuration command line interface
